Welsh Government

Welsh Government is the devolved government for Wales. For nearly 20 years, Practice Solutions has worked with Welsh Government to improve people’s lives, including reports, reviews and project delivery.

We have delivered a number of key projects for Welsh Government, including: an evalutation in homelessness in Wale; the development of a corporate safeguarding policies and good practice guides; helping to implement the Social Services and Wellbeing Act 2014; guidance for Social Service Directors’ Annual Reports; and facilitating the Wales Mental Health and Wellbeing Forum (see below).

Case Study – Wales Mental Health and Wellbeing Forum

The Wales Mental Health and Wellbeing Forum is a group of people with lived experience of mental health issues, and their friends and family. The Forum was established in 2013 by the Welsh Government following the development of the Together for Mental Health Strategy, which aims to inform people of rights when receiving mental health services.

For five years, Practice Solutions has provided support and facilitation services. Through a co-production model, we support the Forum to: develop national guidance; facilitate conversations between individuals, organisations and Welsh Government to influence and inform policy; and recruit across a wide range of individuals to provide representation across demographic groups.

We’re proud to announce that Practice Solutions will continue to work with the Wales Mental Health and Wellbeing Forum for the next year.

You can find out more about these services in our Business Support and Co-Production sections.
