What is the Believe project?
The Believe project offers life-changing opportunities for care leavers aged 18 – 25 who are based in Swansea.
The project is supported by Practice Solutions and Barnardo’s Cymru, and co-produced with a team of young care leavers living in Swansea.

The opportunities were chosen by our young care leaver team, and are designed to open doors for positive change. They will:
- Promote the importance of individuals taking the lead in making decisions about their life
- Provide individuals with some insight into their potential
- Open the door to a brighter future
- Celebrate individuals, their potential and personal achievements

A West Wales holiday for two
We know how important it is for you to get the chance to holiday, and with some of the best beaches in the world right here in Wales, this could be the opportunity you are looking for. This opportunity will allow you (and a guest of your choice?) to get away from it all with a visit to stunning West Wales, courtesy of West Wales Holiday Cottages. You and your guest can relax and unwind in one of their luxury properties.
Bills and budgeting advice
Getting to grips with your finances and budgets can be a minefield. We have you covered, with free access to finance experts Mazuma to support you through the cost-of-living crisis we are facing. These sessions will be tailored to what you want to talk about, so if you are struggling and think this support would make a big difference, please apply. We know keeping in touch is vital but costly, so you’ll also receive a new phone and data package to ensure you stay in touch not only with Mazuma, but also the people who are important to you.
A new high-spec laptop
We know the difference having the right laptop makes. With this opportunity, thanks to Stable IT, you will get a brand new high spec laptop (1TB SSD Laptop Core i9 with Windows 11). Whether for work or play, this is about what you need and what makes a positive difference to you and your life.
