ADSS Cymru
The Association of Directors of Social Services (ADSS) is the national leadership organisation for social services in Wales. It represents directors, heads of services and senior managers for all 22 local authorities in Wales.
As the Business Support Unit of ADSS Cymru, Practice Solutions works closely to deliver a range of projects including: a rapid review into unpaid carers’ rights; digital case studies to capture good practice post-Covid; a review of comissioning services, including surveys and engagement sessions; and business unit support (see below).
Case Study – Business Unit Support
Practice Solutions is contracted to provide the business unit for all ADSS Cymru activity. This includes administrative support, finance, business development, strategic develop, marketing and communications support.
Our team co-ordinates all ADSS Cymru events, including the annual National Social Care Conference and the spring seminar. We also support all project workstreams, including studies, policy development and member groups.
As well as providing direct support to ADSS Cymru members, our team ensures the business runs smoothly and is the first point of contact for media and other enquires.
