I am passionate about helping charities and social organisations to tell their stories and further their impact in their communities.
Charles began work as a camera assistant and operator in Wales. He was offered the chance to shoot his first low budget narrative feature, Boudicca: Rise of the Warrior Queen, for Tornado Films in 2016 and continued to work as a DoP/ Director on The Rebels (2019), Nobody Girl (2021) and Loki’s Game. In 2022 Charles joined documentarian Florence Ayisi on a large-scale project documenting the impact of the pandemic on BAME communities which resulted in several feature length documentaries and short films. Since then, Charles’ passion has been in helping organisations tell their stories using documentary principles to create sensitive and meaningful content.
