Our experience
We recently supported a national programme to assess how adult social care teams across local authorities in Wales could make use of Microsoft Copilot. Working alongside digital specialists and sector leaders, we led engagement with frontline staff and managers across all 22 local authorities.
Our role was to listen, learn, and translate insights into practical guidance, ensuring the technology is implemented in ways that are ethical, empowering, and aligned with the sector’s values.
This work will help to inform digital strategies at a national and local level, and we’re ready to help other organisations take the next step.

We’ve developed a bitesize training video series, a prompt-writing toolkit, and a comprehensive leadership approach that supports organisations to embed Copilot in the right way, from planning and piloting, to scaling and sustaining. These resources are available on the ADSS Cymru website.
We also run regular learning events and briefings to share what we’re learning, and to create space for leaders and practitioners to learn together.
