Ceri joined Practice Solutions in May 2017. As a former senior civil servant, he has considerable experience of national government and public services.

 

While majoring in housing and health, his experience extends across many policy areas including social services, communities, and labour markets. He has a track record of policy and programme development, implementation and evaluation, including legislation, and was responsible for the development and passage of several new Acts of law including the Housing (Wales) Act 2014, Wales’ first ever Housing Act.

 

Ceri has led numerous multi-disciplinary teams inside and outside government, with stakeholder engagement and effective partnership working being strengths. He has also undertaken a wide range of reviews and investigations, and was secretary to the public inquiry into the major outbreak of E.coli O157 in South Wales. He has written and/or edited numerous publications.

 

Ceri’s experience includes work with the European Commission and the World Health Organization, for whom he was a temporary adviser. His professional qualifications are in social research and marketing. He currently holds voluntary roles in two charitable organisations.
