Shaping the next year of Innovation Hours – we want to hear from you
Over the past year, our online Innovation Hours have brought together voices from across the sector to share ideas, spark conversations, and showcase work that’s making a real difference.
Now, as we look ahead to the next 12 months, we want to open Innovation Hours up even more.
We’re inviting expressions of interest from across our network to run an upcoming Innovation Hour, and we’re particularly interested to hear from Local Authorities.
What are we looking for?
We want to hear about what you’re doing that others could learn from.
That might be:
- A new approach or way of working
- A project that’s had real impact
- A challenge you’ve tackled in a creative way
- Something you’re testing, exploring, or learning from
- A solution you’ve developed, either formal or informal
It doesn’t need to be a polished product or a “finished” piece of work. If it’s meaningful, useful, or thought-provoking, we’d love to hear about it and we know others will too.
Why get involved?
Running an Innovation Hour is an opportunity to:
- Share your work with a national network of peers
- Contribute to learning across local authorities, providers, and partners
- Raise the profile of your work and your organisation
- Help shape conversations across the sector
We’ve seen strong engagement and positive feedback from recent sessions, and we’re keen to build on that momentum.
What’s new this year?
We’re broadening the scope of Innovation Hours.
Alongside innovation and technology, we’re interested in what’s happening across the sector more widely. We’re particularly keen to:
- Hear more directly from Local Authorities
- Create themed sessions or mini-series (e.g. AI, service transformation, practice-led innovation)
- Showcase work that isn’t always visible at conferences or in formal settings
Interested?
Getting involved and running a session is simple.
If you’d like to run an Innovation Hour, just fill out this quick EOI form by midday, Tuesday 26 May.
