Averil has 31 years’ experience in local government, with twenty of those working at Strategic Director or Deputy Chief Executive level. She now runs her own consultancy business providing leadership development, action learning set facilitation, and her distinctive brand of legacy coaching to leaders and aspiring leaders working in the public sector throughout the UK. Averil is a published author of ‘The Legacy Coach: Your Next Chapter, Your Legacy, Your Way.’
She facilitates the Solace Wales Aspiring Leaders Programme, the Aspiring Future Leaders Programme for the Association of Youth Justice Managers, and the Leadership Pathways Programme for ADEPT, the Association of Place Directors in England.
